Don't they look lovely together. The picture above is of Dencia, an upcoming artist and her grand mum in Cameroon. 

She had this to say about her grand mum " She came all the way from France to come support me. I love her to death. She raised me and has never stopped being there for me". 

She can't say that much concerning media promoters though. She came out some days ago to vent about the lack of support by promoters and how they exploit money from upcoming artists.

As we all know, yesterday was Mother's day, it is a day set aside to celebrate our mothers and make them feel special. Top Nollywood actors surprises their mum yesterday.

Nonso Diobi got his mother a well furnished mansion which is located at Trans Ekulu, Enugu (Nigeria). His mother was overjoyed, she couldn't help but shower blessings on her son.

 Chika Ike on the other hand bought her mother a brand new 2012 Kia Spotage SUV.

Nollywood Director Tchidi Chikere Ends Marriage With Wife Sofia

The union between Tchidi Chikere and his wife Sofia has lasted for 9 years and has 3 sons to show for it. They reached their agreement of dissolving the marriage when after so many effort of trying to make their marriage work failed. The three sons are with Sofia now and Tchidi said he was going to take full responsibility of the children's upkeep. Tchidi also said that he is not going to grant interview with the press concerning his break up. He enjoins the fourth estate and public to respect his privacy and help protect the children from emotional torments.    

Doris Simeon And Daniel Ademinokan Nollywoood Marriage Separates

The Nolllywood marriage of  Director Daniel Ademinokan and Doris Simeon might dissolve, rumor had it one time that Daniel was having an affair with sultry actress Tonto Dike which he denied. The couple are said to be living apart now, Doris has moved from their house in magodo to a new apartment in Akute with their son (David Ademinokan)while Daniel has gone to Abuja to train both young and experienced actors and directors. Daniel  said that he is human and would like his private life private.

"Goge Africa" Presenters Welcomes A Son

Nneka and Issac Moses who met on set of the movie called "Love in Veddetta" in 1996, were supposed to  be dating in the movie, but they then took it to the next level. After their marriage Nneka spent years looking for the fruit of the womb, until recently God answered her prayers

The couple are presently in a happy mood as they welcome a son in their lives, Issac Moses stated on his facebook page some days ago saying:

 “All honor and glory to God; my wife has delivered a beautiful baby boy. 

And just looking at him, I realize he is worth the long wait. So welcome baby Kamara Isaac Moses.” 

Friends and well wishers has long been posting on their wall congratulating and wishing them well. We are so happy for the couple, God's time is certainly the best especially when you are blessed with an understanding and God fearing partner.

Ice Prince Interview On BBC "Only My Mum Lived To Watch Oleku Before She Too Died"

If you ask many Nigerians if the name Panshak Zamani means anything to them, they will probably respond blankly but ask about Oleku and they will no doubt sing what is still a top hit in the country, nearly two years after being released.Zamani, who hails from Jos in Nigeria, is popularly known as Ice Prince.

He has just been to London to promote his new album, ELI, in which he includes a song called Superstar."After Oleku came out and blew up it put me on a different platform and I started feeling like a star," he says.When he visited BBC Africa's studios, the presenter Bola Mosuro started by asking him about the name of the new CD.

We shared the just released photograph of rapper Ikechukwu's fiancee HERE. Guess the half Nigerian - Half Ghanaian model Sarah didn't see this coming, and on hearing and reading the negative comments that followed the photos, she tweeted;

"Morning Tweeps! What a morning already, my fones been bugging about some pic of me on blogs *rme* too early for dis yo! *yawn* BK to bed... Lol"

When the negative continued, she added;

Comedian Klint Da Drunk - Igwemba And Wife Lilien Welcome 2nd Child

Popular comedian, Klint da Drunk (who dedicated a whole Facebook photo album to his wife) has just announced the birth of his 2nd child on the social network,

"Praise the Lord!!! God has blessed us with yet another bouncing baby boy!!!!! I thank you Lord!! God is wonderful! Wife n baby doing fine!!"

This is the couple's 2nd child since marriage, their first son Denzel was born in February 2009.

How I Survived As A Wheelbarrow Pusher In Alade Market - 9ice

I think it is in the track, Everyday that you mentioned you pushed the cart in Alade Market, is that a real experience?
A lot of people think it is Alade Market on Allen Avenue. But there is an Alade Market in Bariga. Truth is, the Alade Market on Allen Avenue, Ikeja is more popular than the one in Bariga.

We used to push carts loaded with Ewedu and Ugu  vegetables for market women who come to the market to buy in bulk but cannot handle their wares because they loads on their heads. So while they carry some on their heads we will be pushing the rest in the cart behind them.  Sometimes, because some bad boys run away with  their goods, they insist we push the carts ahead of therm so they can see the movement of their goods. Those were some of the things that I did  in those days to survive.

How much were you earning per day then?
Then if you push the cart with Ewedu and Ugu from Alade which is in Jagunmolu or from Jagunmolu to Okoko you will earn at-least N100:00 (One hundred naira).

So 9ice, having gone through this, how well are you giving back considering the fact that many boys are still on the streets?

We did a show last year in Bariga on Christmas day. We realised that on Christmas Day Bariga can be so boring. So instead of letting the people go to Lekki  to go and watch shows which many cant afford, we brought a show to them. It was a free show.  Today we have provided free pipe-borne water people living on my street. And we are trying to do more. I have done the same for the community I live currently. I am still trying to do more, like sharing free textbooks to secondary and primary schools’  students through the 9ice Foundation.

Jide Kosoko Speaks On Marraige Break Up With Henrietta Kosoko

It was rumoured last month that the marriage of actor Jide Kosoko and wife, Henrietta had broken down because Jide had taken in a new wife. The gist had it that she even moved out their Ayobo residence and missed her step daughter, Shola’s wedding.

In a recent phone interview, Prince Jide Kosoko responded to the rumour.

There is nothing like that.This is not the first time I will be hearing such. The first time that rumour was spreading,it was because my wife wasn’t present at a party and I told them that she was out of Lagos.Now they have started again.

Asked if it was true that he has taken another wife and he replied;

 Ah,ah,at my level.I can’t do that again.I am already a grandfather of not one or two children.If I do such a thing wouldn’t you even scold me? I have two wives already.So,I can’t do such.
