Miami-born model and author of Hungry: A Young Model's Story of Appetite, Ambition and the Ultimate Embrace of Curves- a book about her experiences in the modelling industry Crystal Renn, has resurfaced in a thin personage just last night at the amfAR in a tight red dress giving away her thin waist.

The former plus-size model who has had high-end jobs with plus-size clothing chain Evans and major designers including Jean-Paul Gaultier doesn't seem to have been getting graceful feedbacks since her weight-loss, as Plus Model Magazine editor Madelein Jones confirmed to Radaronline: "We have been betrayed by her."

Arise African Fashion Week Organisation is headed by Mr Nnduka Obaigbena, a man who is regarded as one of the finest newspaper/magazine publishers in Africa, the event, which is supposed to have started since Wednesday, 7th of March was deferred for two days now. This year's event included 77 designers.

Some Nigerian models felt that the pay of 25,000 Naira a day is peanuts compared to the amount other model from outside the country will be earning at the Arise Fashion Week, They decided to stage a walk out, but they were called in for a talk though.

We shared the just released photograph of rapper Ikechukwu's fiancee HERE. Guess the half Nigerian - Half Ghanaian model Sarah didn't see this coming, and on hearing and reading the negative comments that followed the photos, she tweeted;

"Morning Tweeps! What a morning already, my fones been bugging about some pic of me on blogs *rme* too early for dis yo! *yawn* BK to bed... Lol" 

"@pixelsandframes Oga u see wats u've caused? Sighhh..."

When the negative continued, she added;

Below is the very brief write up I stumbled upon on a number of celebrity websites;

The third edition of Silverbird’s Mr Nigeria took place on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos. The night of manly show-offs, muscles, six-packs abs and cute faces ended with Deji Bakare being crowned the new Mr Nigeria by Keneth Okoli, the outgoing Mr Nigeria.

Deji, a rapper/singer got the grand prize of One million Naira, a brand new car, a trip to Sao Tome and Principe (including 5 nights at the Pestana Hotels), an Ipad 2 and Blackberry Bold 9900. He will also compete in the Mister World 2011 pageant.

Fourth runner up went to Joseph Agossa, third runner up to Bandele Adebule, Second runner up to Chucks Obichukwu and second position went to Melvin Oduah. Awards for Mr Photogenic, Mr Sports, Mr Amenity, Strongest Man, Mr Smart, Mr Talented, Mr Physique, and Mr Personality went to Henry Ojini, Chidi Onuike, Alex Uriesi, Oluwagbemiga Adetuberu, Ikorishor Ajabi, Deji Bakare, Ugochukwu Uzowuihe and Ayomikun Odunwole respectively.
