Celebrity Couple Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Venture Into WineMaking.

Wine website Decanter.com reported that Hollywood A-List couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have gone into wine business, producing a rose called Miraval from their French estate and putting their names on the label.

The celebrity couple have been working with winemaker Marc Perrin starting with the 2012 harvest, the website said. The wines will be in the market in March and white wines will will be arriving at the end of the summer.

 "They ... want to ensure they are making the best Provence wines they can," Perrin told Britain-based Decanter.com. on Wednesday. "They were present at the blending sessions this year, and are relooking at everything from the installations in the winery - where we have already switched to stainless steel tanks - to reworking the labels across the range of wines," he added.

According to Decanter.com the Miraval wine was formerly called Pink Floyd because the British rock band recorded their 1979 album "The Wall" in a studio on the estate. The back label of the wine carries the names Jollie-Pitt and Perrin.

Pitt and Jolie began renting Chateau Miraval in the village of Correns, southern France, about four years ago and later bought the property, which has about 148 acres (60 hectares) of vines, for $60 million.

Pitt last year unveiled a high-end collection of furniture that he helped create with designer Frank Pollaro. He has also worked with architects to create affordable quality housing for victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

The Mavin star is out to give chocolate lovers a mouthful as he launched his own Chocolate Cookie, 'Indulge'. The singer's new brain-child was launched at Don Jazzy's night club POP, 46 Saka Tinubu Victoria Island Lagos on the February 9, 2013.

The singer pointing us to the make-up of his creative work explained:

"With a half coat of melted chocolate and a sprinkle of Belgian chocolate chips, the cookie is a treat of good chocolate and cookie love. The bottom line is, you cannot think of love, delight, chocolate or valentine’s day without thinking of the indulge cookie. Why send flowers this season when you can send Indulge and get the cookie, Dr. SID explained."

BlackBerry 10 Not To Be Sold In Japan.

The buzz reverberating from the new BlackBerry 10 smartphone is being felt virtually round the world. But, its a pity that some countries would be left in the dark of it. The makers of the smartphone declared yesterday that they wont launch the device in Japan.

"We are in the process of launching BlackBerry 10 globally in key markets and we are seeing positive demand for the BlackBerry Z10 in countries where it has already launched."

A BlackBerry spokesman later confirmed in an e-mail to CNET: 

"Japan is not a major market for BlackBerry, and we have no plans to launch BlackBerry 10 smartphones there at this time."

Japan who is a major consumer of smartphones don't seem to be 'favouriting' the BB Z10.  According to research firm, ComScore, Android is sitting on 64% of Japan's smartphone market share and Apple's iOS clenched a 32% share in August, leaving Microsoft's Windows Phone in third place with 3 percent, while BlackBerry OS and Nokia Symbian coin out a lilliputian less-than-half a percentage point.

Although, the makers of the smartphone have certified that BlackBerry 10 wont be launched in Japan, they will continue to show support to their customers in Japan. One of their spokesmen asserted:

"we will continue to support BlackBerry customers in Japan.".
