Hilarious Video Of Bovi The Comedian Dissing Kim K And Cossy Ojiakor.

Seems like Nigerians would never forgive Dare Art Alade for what Kim Kardashian did or didn't do in the 'Love like a movie' show. Bovi ranted about how Dare wasted a whooping 75 million Naira to bring Kim K to Nigeria when he could have paid Cossy Ojiakor just 22,000 Naira since they do the same thing- expose their bodies. He also joked that we should not blame Kim K, what else were we expecting when she just spent 72 days in her marriage.

I am sure Cossy would have happily taken the job, she has never denied the fact that she takes pleasure in making men gasp, definitely not for N22,000 because that woman can get the men fighting for tickets to attend a church service let alone a show by Dare.

Bez, The Superb Alternative-Soul Singer

                               
The Nigerian song sensation writer Emmanuel Bezhiwa Idakula popularly known as Bez has the hearts of many loving soul, jazz and R&B music more and more. He had an interview some days ago with FAB radio where he gave us a little more about his background and hopes.

He stated that when he first started music, it was his way of giving people a platform to express themselves and since those early days he has gone far and wide. He said he is really grateful to God. He stated that "its a lot of hard work, you would need a lot of favors and people just trying to push you to the next level. It has definitely been a learning curve for me. Its a work in progress, we have done a lot of gigs in different locations around the world and still counting".

He mentioned that the one experience that helped him build himself was the death of his father. " I lost my dad in J.S.S2 and that really crushed us... but people came through for us. Now, that situation made me really strong. It made me realize that i can push on and work towards what i really want to do and be. Its an experience that people expected to bring me down but instead it strengthened me"

His song, 'The stupid song' placed him at number three on the Boston Globe's chat for the world's top ten music album. He has been nominated for several awards but he said that the one he would really like to win is the 'best album' award. "you know, that would be really great" he added.

Talking about his style, the geek glasses, an acoustic guitar which is gradually being replaced by an electric one and the hat are now known to be his identity. He said " my style is African and urban. Its young, fresh and classic".

He claimed that the major highlight of his international performances would be that of Jo'burg in South Africa "We were booked to perform second for a gig on Sunday and we flew in that same Sunday  It was serious rush rush. We played and some minutes after we got booked for four more gigs in Jo'burg. So we ended up staying for about a week". He added that" the world is checking out his music, the world is loving it and wanting more of what i'm doing".

Veteran Actor Justus Esiri Is Dead!

Nollywood has been plunged into a mourning mood as one of her highly respected thespians Chief Justus Esiri passed on, on Tuesday February 19, 2013. The veteran actor was confirmed dead by his musician son Dr. Sid on Twitter. 

An unconfirmed report said the now late veteran actor had been battling secretly with diabetes which resulted in his sudden demise.

Before his death, Justus Esiri was a member of the Order of Niger (MON). He came into limelight in the early 80's through the popular Village Headmaster TV series. He has also featured in many interesting Nollywood movies. He also attended Prof. Weners Institute of Engineering, West Berlin, 1967 and the Ahrens School of Performing Arts in 1968. Justus Esiri, detoured into motion picture production in 1968 as a staff of the Schiller Theater, Berlin, Germany, where he stayed till 1976. During the 1977 FESTAC held in Lagos, he choreographed the Modern Dress exhibition.

But its so sad that in the space of two years Nollywood has recorded quite a number of deaths: First it was the demise of  talented rapper DaGrin in 2010, then veteran actor Ashley Nwosu's death in 2011, then Yoruba actor Ishola Durojaiye in 2011, then Comedian CD John in 2011, then Koko Mansion star Chidinma Mbalaso in 2011, then Christy Essien Igbokwe in 2011, veteran actor Sam Loco Efe in 2011, London-based Yoruba actress and movie producer Yemisi Eleto in 2011, veteran actress Grenaldine Ekeocha in 2011, Eastern musician Mc Loph in 2011, veteran actors Enebeli Elebuwa and Pete Eneh in 2012. Then just this year: LKT's Manager Emmanuel Okoi died in January, and while we are still grappled in the shock of singer Goldie's death who passed on only 6 days ago, Justus Esiri is now the subject of our panegyric. 

"What must have gone wrong in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry?" Questions are arising.

Kim Kadarshian Bags Home $500,000 For Just 45 Seconds Of 'Co-Hosting' Darey's 'Love Like A Movie' Concert

It is rumored that Kim Kadarshian was paid $500,000 for appearing on Darey's 'Love Like A Movie' concert. Yeah, I said "appearing", because from all we gathered, she just appeared and disappeared and...clears throat... $500,000 (N78.5 million) went just like that. Shikenah!

According to SaharaReporters.com, the reality TV star, despite staying less than a day in the city of Lagos the pregnant star was paid a reported $500,000 for her fleeting visit, leaving some commentators in the country infuriated.


The mother-to-be was billed a whooping $500,000 to 'co-host' the 'Love Like A Movie' concert with Nigerian R’n'B crooner Darey Art-Alade, for which tickets cost N100,000, or $640.

But Kim isn't the only American Lady Celeb too have been billed to feature on a Nigerian stage. In 2012 Keri Hilson was flown into the country for Face Of Sofa Lounge event which was held in Abuja. She even danced 'Azonto' and 'Etighi' to D'banj's 'Oliver Twist' and some other Nigerian jamz. Even Brandy was also in Nigeria in October, 2011 for the opening show of the MTN Project Fame Season 4. And they both featured immensely at their respective shows for which they were billed.

So, I really don't know what deal was. Her fans who were burning with anticipation of her arrival and eventual appearance are now cold in disappointment. One actually said she "came, disappointed us and just left."

But even if she spent barely 45 second on the stage and 'disappeared' with $500,000 (N78.5 million), I think it was probably the deal she had with the organizers, in the first place. I don't think they'd have allowed her leave just like that if that wasn't the case.

Or what do you guys think, was paying Kim $500,000 (N78.5 million) for just 45 seconds on stage worth it?
