"God Has Anointed Me To Lead A Revolution Against Jihadists" Bishop Oyedepo On Boko Haram

No doubt everyone is fed up with the whole Boko Haram dominance, this, the fact that little has been done to stop them and the fact that one of them detained escaped from the police not long ago makes the annoyance of Nigerians very understandable.

Last week we reported how securities at one of Bishop Oyedepo's Winner's Chapel branch, in Kaduna averted a Boko Haram sponsored bombing at the premises. Recently, he was quoted to have said;

‎"Everyone connected with the escape of the Boko Haram kingpin, would soon face the wrath of God. God has anointed me to lead a revolution against jihadists. Enough is enough of their activities. If it is the wish of God for the country to break up. God, break it now. If the church should arise, Nigeria will no more be a nation" Bishop David Oyedepo.

Funny OR NOT? Bishop Oyedepo Slaps President Jonathan

This video by Sahara Reporters hit the internet not too long ago, and it divided Nigerians. Some like Chimaad007 felt this is a disrespectful video, his comment read

"this is not funny. i wonder if it was a joke bout islam,it would be different. stop playing with christianity you bastards. fuck sahara. fuck these two grown up fucktards."

While some others felt the video potrays the true situation of things in Nigeria.

"Very interesting video. It was a little over done but I get the drift. Quite funny. A lot of Nigerians lose track of who God really is and start to worship their pastors. I call the lot of them, "fans of the preachers". Even Michael Jackson had more followers. Whenever Michael Jackson appeared, people began to faint. UK Based Ghanaian Gospel Singer/ Pastor Impregnates 3 More Church Members

According to GhanaMusic, 31yr old  Pastor, Kwaku Antwi-kusi Junior who has already fathered 2 children with a different church member recently realised that 3 more of his church members are pregnant for him at the same time. It is also being alleged that he is secretly married to another church member and since this recent development, he fled leaving the pregnant women and his church which since closed down.

It's a shame I have only very little facts about this actual situation, but since the story got out, a lot of people have been praying and cursing the Pastor. What is your take on this situation, Is it ok for pastors be judged at a higher standard than the rest of us?

Bode George Replies Cleric Who Questioned His Giving Thanksgiving In Church After Return From Jail

Former National Deputy Chairman of PDP Chief Olabode George (aka Boy George), after release in February from Kirirkiri Maximum prison (where he spent 18months) went to church for thanksgiving with his family. Last Sunday, in a church service to mark his 66th birthday, he used the opportunity to attack the cleric who questioned his decision to give thanksgiving after his release from jail in Febuary. He said;

”In conclusion I want to talk about a man of God who ought to know better. I want to talk about the man who hopefully should know that the House of God is a House of worship where we all give glory and supplicate before God Almighty. This cleric inexplicably questioned my presence in the House of the Lord after my liberation from the prison.“ 

The young fledgling cleric who was in form four when when I was governor of Ondo State apparently did not understand the defining corpus of Thanksgiving and Offering, the very summative content of the mercy, the grace and the love and the Eternal Truth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

The young cleric repeatedly wondered why I had come to worship at the altar of the Almighty God after 18 months of unjust incarceration. I looked at the cleric with a puzzled gaze. I was naturally bemused. I still cannot fathom the absurdity of the cleric’s enquiry. Pray, where else would I thank God for His protection and mercy? Pray, where else would I demonstrate my own devotion to the living God, the Eternal Rock of Ages? Surely, not at the accursed aboriginal shrine of the lost unbelievers.

Lol... Can't believe a church cleric will decide to judge the sin of their worshippers. What do you think?

I Don't Want To Die! 78 Yr Old Woman Fights Redeem Church Over Excessive Noise

 A 78 year old woman cries out to the Government and the public to help her stop the excessive sound of musical instrument coming out from a Redeem church branch just by her house. She has confronted the church in different occasions but according to her, they remain addamant and that this has resulted in insults and even a court case, as her son was on one occassion charged to court, he was accused of attempting to set the church ablaze, but he was discharged for lack of evidence.

In the woman's words 

"At my age, I think I deserve some rest after labouring all this while. But they would’t allow me to have a moment of rest. Their speakers and musical instruments are always sounding very loud. It is always terrible whenever they hold vigils as I don’t get a wink of sleep on these occasions ... The level of noise generated by this church is unimaginable and I have complained to them several times to no avail. When my son, Segun, approached the church on the issue, he was rounded up and accused of trying to set the church ablaze. He was even charged to court and later discharged for lack of evidence ...  "At my age, I think I deserve some rest after labouring all this while. But they would’t allow me to have a moment of rest. Their speakers and musical instruments are always sounding very loud. It is always terrible whenever they hold vigils as I don’t get a wink of sleep on these occasions ... They have resorted to verbal abuse and assaults on my person whenever I approach them on this matter. They now call me a witch for championing a legitimate course. I have medical challenges. Once my sleep is distorted, my blood level rises and I don’t want to die now. Government should enforce its orders and save me from dying before my time"

In response to the allegation the church also claimed that they had done all they can because of the woman, said ....

A Nigerian Gay Pastor Dares Senate As He Recruits More Members

Gay Pastor Rowland Olajide Macaulay

A gay pastor, Rowland Olajide Macaulay of House of Rainbow church in the past, appeared on CNN where he openly talked about his church of gays situated in Lagos. Following the CNN publication, he fled to abroad on a self imposed exile, he currently runs his gay church there.

“ My Church is a voice of the younger generation of citizens, activists, and diaspora, and our collective belief in a more progressive Nigeria. They are afraid of our growing influence as we gather allies not just from the West, a people that are not afraid but powerful and resilient.“Right now, they are spreading their tentacles to every village, town and city around the world”.

The Church is also calling faithful and dedicated local leaders who believe in homosexuality and lesbianism. Currently, ten House Of Rainbow Fellowship local leaders are in Ghana, Nigeria, UK, Burundi, and Lesotho. He believes;

“any negative effect on the anti-gay bill will have detrimental effect on the work and mission of House Of Rainbow in Nigeria. The lives of LGBTI people and their friends, families and allies will be further frustrated with fear and prejudice. We need to pray and stand up against injustice”.

He is leading a comeback even though he remains in London, but the project could even spread beyond the borders of Africa’s most populous country as he has recruited members from other African countries. He still preaches to Nigerians via Youtube.

Prophet Who Raped Woman Contracts HIV And Gets 4years Jail Sentence

Wonders shall never end! Stories we hear these days, especially the ones that reach Nigerian courts will make you ponder and wonder. News have it that a self styled prophet has been jailed for 4years after raping a woman in which he contracted HIV.

According to the prosecution,

"On October 10, 2010, he went to the woman’s house demanding his “muteuro” (holy water) back, but the woman pleaded with him to allow her to continue using it. He returned the following day making the same demands, but she told him that she had pain in her womb and needed help.  

Chiwafa asked for cooking oil and told the woman to go into a private room where he followed and told her to apply the oil on her private parts. He then started caressing her private parts and raped her."

Brighton Chiwafa  on the other hand, claimed the woman visited another prophet who told her to find a young and healthy man who would help her conceive as she wanted a child, and that the intercourse they had was mutual.

The fact remains that he is suppose to be a spiritual mentor or what do you think? What freaks me out with this story is the fact that people hide under the guise of religion, its really pathetic and sad.

Watch VIDEO: Christian Muslims Burn Witches Alive In Kenya, Nigeria, Ivory Coast

This video has been online for a while, first it had the tag "Christians Burning people alive in Kenya suspected of witchcraft ... Translation: they did not acknowledge Jesus Christ as their God". Now the video has resurfaced online again but this time with the tag "Christians burnt alive by Sunni Muslims in NIGERIA".

This comes few months after the above still image of dead bodies which resulted from a Congo gas tanker explosion was tagged "Christians being burned alive by Muslims in Ivory Coast", and at a point both the still image and the video were linked together as the same incident. It even had the same write up which this new video has, it reads

"Posted by Jillian Becker in Africa, Arab States, Christianity, Christians burnt alive by Sunni Muslims, Islam, Muslims, jihad).....PLEASE SHARE IT OR JUST UPLOAD YOUR OWN...BUT SOMEHOW SPREAD IT IF YOU'RE EVEN 1% CHRISTIAN — It is still not over yet!"

It's appalling that a jobless person just sits around and tries to start up religious war in different countries, or maybe it's just poor journalism. Whichever way it seems this is the video of the incident which occurred in Kenya back in 2008/2009 when some suspected witches and wizards were beaten and set alight, but the point of this post is, the incident recorded in the video may not have been a result of Christian/ Muslim differences as claimed.

VIDEO: UK Channel 4's Documentary On Eccentric Life Of Wealthy Nigerian Pastors

Channel 4 travelled to Lagos for a documentary on the eccentric world of Nigeria’s millionaire pastors, which showcased, miracles, expensive cars, exorcisms, bodyguards and 'religion as big'. This episode aired last Friday, and the crew visited some of the biggest Pentecostal churches in Lagos, including Oyakhilome’s 'Christ Embassy' (who's security were very unfriendly), Okotie’s 'Household of God' (who spoke to the reporter, Seyi Rhodes) and Fireman’s 'Perfect Christianity Ministry' who spent more time with the Seyi.


Dr. Fireman is an upcoming preacher who drives a Hummer 4×4, and is attempting to break into the big league of prosperity preachers someday. He believes Jesus Christ was a rich man with an accountant, hence there is no reason why he shouldn't aim for wealth.

Rev. King's 'Death By Hanging' Appeal Suffers Set Back

In July 2006, founder of Christian Praying Assembly, Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeuko aka Rev. King accused six members of his church of sinning by having extra-marital sex, hence he poured petrol over them before setting them alight. Ann Uzor died in hospital from her burns.

He is presently challenging the 2007 judgement which sentenced him to death by hanging as he insists people were plotting against him. Nonetheless, he appeal scheduled for last Wednesday suffered some set back due to irregularities in the appeal.

In a chat with Tribune Newspaper reporters shortly after the match, Super Eagles striker Osaze Odewingie blamed their inability to qualify for next year's nations cup on TB Joshua's prediction, he claims it put pressure on the team.
