You must have heard about the alleged wedding of Tiwa Savage and her manager Tunji Balogun aka T Billz which was said to have taken place about a week ago. There have always been unconfirmed speculations that the two were dating and when a few days ago, the story about their alleged marriage broke, her manager quickly debunked it saying;
“The story is not true, these bloggers just publish what they like without doing their findings.”
“I am right now in Benin having an album listening party of my other artiste, D’Prince. I have heard all the rumours, whenever I hear them I just laugh to myself. Who was there? Was the person at the wedding?”
Just when we were about to believe him, @papaomisore shared the above photo of them and tagged it "My Favourite couple" after which Rukky Sanda added "Cute Couple". Are you confused about hat to believe now? Well no need, these things always have a way of coming out clearly in the open after a short period of time.
I totally understand Tiwa though, she is over 30 so settling down clearly is the best for her now, but if we look closely, hardly do the married ones (especially females) make it in the music industry, hence if these stories are true, I see the reason behind keeping the wedding "hush hush".
I sometimes refer to Tiwa as Nigeria's sweetheart, if Tiwa came out in the open to say she is married, will you still love to see her on TV dancing "I no do kerekere love" in her bum short? Will she still be your favourite female artist even after two children?
