King Sunny Ade's ex- guitarist, Fatoke Abiodu Arrested For Drug Possession At The Airport
62 year old Fatoke Abiodun (One of King Sunny Ade's ex-guitarist), was arrested on the 1st of January with 1.575kg of cocaine, according to NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency) while trying to board an Air France flight to Italy at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. They found the drugs in the false bottom of his luggage and holds the record of being the first trafficker to be arrested in 2013.
According to reports, the 62 year old said he played for King Sunny Ade for 30 years before he had to retire in 2007 and with little or nothing to feed his four wives, and many children, the grandfather turned to drug trafficking, he claims this is his first attempt.
