Hip-hop act Jude M.I Abaga and Nigerian singer and song-writer Omawumi Megbele have both been chosen as host for the 7th edition of Nigeria's biggest music honour event THE HEADIES.
This was announced by Ayo Animashaun the executive producer of The Headie. He (Ayo Animashaun) said that the pair was chosen in line with the awards' tradition of picking talented and inspiring entertainers to head an award ceremony that parades some of the continents most popular entertainers.
Omawumi who won the prize of the 'Next rated' at the Headies in 2009 after coming second in the West African Idol in 2008, has continued to show great passion and love for what she is doing. It is obvious that she is heading for greater success.
