On December 3rd 2004, the very talented singer Jaiye Aboderin passed on at the age of 33 after he slumped to death during a game of basketball. The late singer's widow, actress Stella Damasus tweeted:
''Join me as i celebrate my late husband's 7th remembrance. Jaiyejeje Aboderin ur spirit lives on. keep resting in the lord''.In honour of the late singer a music talent hunt has been put together called the 'Jay search' the hunt will have a total of 20 finalists.The finale of the hunt will be on the 16th of December at the grand ball room of the Lagos oriental hotel were 6 of them will slug it out for a cash price of N250,000, a recording deal for one single, a video, makeover, publicity, airplay and promotion.
The winners will be selected by the guest whose votes will form 40% of the final votes, while the remaining 60% will come from the judges. Expected to be in attendance are Nollywood Finest and the music industry finest.
