Nigerian singer, song-writer and harmonica player Dapo Oyebanjo who we all know and love as D'banj is a very simple yet exotic stylist. He doesn't go out of his way to get attention by placing fruits on his head or something as silly as that, but makes use of quality time evolving pieces.

 He has won several awards such as the 'best African act' at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007 and has also been appointed 'Nigeria's first United Nations Youth Ambassador For Peace'.

Aside when he came on stage with just a towel tied to his waist, his dress sense exudes sophistication something most young Nigerian men can incorporate.

 

          

 

Key notes of his style include:

Blazers. Opt for well tailored blazers that fit your body type well, not too tight, not too big. You can go for dull colors for work hours while for celebrations/events, some colors that are brighter but that compliment your skin tone would pass.

Shirts. Equally well tailored quality shirts to compliment your jackets would be awesome. When pairing your shirts with jackets, make sure the colors compliment themselves.

Accessories. Go for simple accessories like watches, chains, rings, shades, pocket squares e.t.c. Do not over do it, keep your accessories simple and stylish. There is a thin line between dressing like a gentle man  and looking like a gangster when it comes to accessories.

Well tailored pants/trousers. Overly tight trousers are definitely not fashionable nor healthy for you. Once again, get what matches your body type.
