Desperate Housewives is an American television dramedy-mystery series created by Marc Cherry and produced by ABC Studios and Cherry Productions. The first episode came out in 2004 and final episode in 2012. While 'Mistress' is a Nollywood movie produced by Halima Abubakar a Nigerian actress and features Yvonne Nelson, Moyo Lawal, Mary Uranta among others.

Halima speaks about her movie “It took me a long time to finish the movie because I was set to achieve success. Apart from the millions of naira I spent on the production, the cast, the crew and I traveled to different parts of the world to ensure that the movie is one to beat and copy in the movie industry today.”
