We were all enjoying the amazing combination between Psquare and MAYD untill their sudden split up was announced last year. Since then, there had been several unanswered questions as to the reason why MAYD left Square records.
Jude Okoye, the CEO of Square records and brother to Psquare revealed the reason behind the split up in a radio interview in Rwanda. He said Mayd was fired because he wanted to acquire P-Square's kind of fame and wealth in less than a year. Could this be true? I'm waiting patiently to hear from Mayd, and I wont be surprised to hear another version of this story from him when he decides to reply. Lets keep our fingers crossed till then.
