Wizkid drops the kid from his name

Forget the Kid,award winning music sensation Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has decided to drop the Kid in his name.To mark his 23 years old birthday, he intimated his fans of his move over twitter.

Wiz kid who is one of the brightest young stars to emerge from Nigeria has achieved great feats, from a platinum selling debut album to sold out shows and concerts and recently, carting home the Award for Best International African Act at the just concluded BET Awards.

Fans have however reacted to this move as some even went ahead to offer possible replacements to the Kid in his name.Some even reffered to the likes of American rappers Lil wayne,Young jeezy who are above 30 but still retained the first names.However, Bow wow changed his name from Lil Bow wow when he clocked 18

So, would this name change affect his fan base,does it mean he is saying goodbye to his underaged fans? time will tell.But we have the freedom to give him possible names right?I'll go with Wizstar.lol what's yours?
