"I was myself in that house"Goldie breaks the silence

Last night Nigeria’s only representative at the Big brother Star Game, Goldie was evicted.The songstress could not hold back her emotions as tears streamed down her face.

Back in Nigerian, there were mixed reactions towards her eviction,many critisized her  performance at the Big Brother house based on the fact that she apparently fell inlove with Kenyan rapper, Prezzo.Some felt he didn’t desrve her love and she let our country down by not living up to her Diva status.Her constant hours in the kicthen infuriated some.

Despite this, others have hailed her for being true to herself and showing Africa she is a decent and well bred lady, arguing that she didn’t have any amourous affair with any one in the house and therefore, doesnt deserve all the criticism she got.They applauded her realness and couldn't understand why people want her to be what she's not.

One thing everyone seemed to agree on is the fact that, Prezzo was no good for her.The fact that he repeatedly put her down before his other housemates and even called her a “wierdo” and called her music fake seemed like a bitter pill for most Nigerians to swallow.Couldnt she see Prezzo was using her?Some asked.

To add salt to injury,When Prezzo was placed on eviction , Goldie who had the power to save some one, gave her vote to Prezzo,over Kietta.Her vote kept him in the Big brother house which shows her forgiving spirit.However,the straw which broke the camel’s back was when  Prezzo, voted her for eviction.His vote placed her on the risky eviction hot spot.

It was a clear case of being stabbed in the back as she was oblivious to this shocking fact.However, when she scaled through, she was back in the arms of her lover who told her”I couldn’t imagine living in the house without you.I love you, you are my heart”

Last night ,love couldn't save her as Prezzo was saved by Liberia, Kenya and Angola and Tanzania

Goldie is back in the country and just granted her first interview on Cool FM,when asked about her behavior in the house, she replied"I was myself in that house and if i had to do it again,i'll be exactly the same way"

Time would tell if Nigerians choose to believe her as they wait to see her next move.Her new single is currently receiving massive airplay.
