The NEA, which is in its 7th year honors African entertainers, It is scheduled to take place via a grand red carpet ceremony in New York, USA. From August 31 to September 2.
The award-winning actress was nominated for Pan African Actress category of the NEA for her role in ‘Single Six’ from the stables of Venus Film.
Chief Dele Momodu had been busy clamouring for votes for Yvonne Okoro. He urged all his friends to vote for the actress who on Monday evening returned to Ghana from a business trip to the UK.
She was a few months ago honored with a Distinguished Achievement Award at the 2012 Nigeria Excellence Awards in Ghana chaired by His Excellency, Ambassador Musiliu Obanikoro, Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Ghana.
