BEFORE YOU BOARD, HOW OLD IS THAT AIRPLANE?

Accident is purely an accident; an unplanned and unfortunate incident. But when the reason for the unplanned and unfortunate incident is caused by human greed and sharp practices it becomes more than an accident, it becomes a sin. After the DANA air mishap that claimed the lives of 153 promising Nigerians and the preliminary findings that show the role played by greed, data distortion and an aged aircraft it is necessary for one to know the age of the aircraft in our airspace. By standard Nigeria aviation regulation any plane older than 20 years is to be grounded but this shocking compilation from www.planespotters.net reveals the age of our airplanes.
