Over the weekend, Nollywood stars gathered on the red carpet in Ikoyi for the Premiere of 'Silver Lining', a short film on Autism
'Silver lining' is produced by Emem Isong and Uduak Oguamanam for Patrick Speech and Languages Centre. Patrick Speech and Languages Centre is a unique centre for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger Syndrome and other related developmental disabilities.
The Propritoress of
'Silver Lining', Mrs Dotun Akande was very grateful for the role this movie plays in creating awarenes, she said
'I'm thankful to God for making this event possible. This marks a number of firsts for us; the first time we are premiering a film in conjunction with my good friends in Nollywood (Royal Arts) and the first time a film has been shot on the subject of Autism in Nigeria. It is my hope that it brings awareness about the condition in Nigeria'.
