According to
VANGUARD, an Ibadan herbalist,
Fatai Bayonle, was in court on Monday for giving false vision likely to cause breach of public peace by telling his victim,
Oluwakemi Olalere, that a certain woman was after her life. The prosecutor,
Adedosu said that the accused lied to his victim with the intention of extorting money from her, adding that this led to a crisis in Olalere’s family an offence contrary to and punishable under
section 249(D) of the criminal code cap 38 Vol. II Laws of Oyo State of Nigeria 2000. The judge granted the accused bail in the sum of N20, 000 with two sureties and adjourned the case to Dec. 15 for further hearing.
Now my question is:-
1 How can anyone prove a vision is wrong?
2 False vision also occurs a lot amongst pastors who feed by this devious act. Does this mean I can now sue my pastor/spiritualist? Should this extend to Libel and defamation in situations when the pastor/spiritualist says negative things about me in a prophesy (like celebrities sue magazines for negative write ups) OR is this simply bad for spiritualist and church business?
I seriously need answers ooo
