It has been rumoured that Sony is set to unveil the release of Playstation 4 following yesterday's Playstation's tease "the future" posted simultaneously on different social networks.
The rumour suggests that the vastly assumed soon-to-be-released console will feature film-quality graphics, ten times the processing power of PS3 and EIGHT computer chips in its electronic "brain". Its ultra-HD quality graphics will be four times as detailed as the PS3’s standard HD. There will also be 3D capability. Further rumour suggests a new controller for the console, possibly with a built-in touchscreen display, and a Share button which will launch a new feature that will allow screenshots and video to be distributed online. The claims also are that console will include the option to play older games and PS3 controllers will still work. Its ultra-HD player — the successor to Blu-ray — will let families view catch-up TV such as iPlayer and access films and music.
Although, Sony yesterday invited journalists to a New York meeting on February 20 where they said they will “talk about the future PlayStation business”, bosses refused to confirm whether that meant a new console. But as we now have it, internet rumours suggests "the future" is "PS4".
Since it is already known that Sony will be meeting with journalists on February 20, rumour also purports that the release date for the console is February 20 and will be in retail at the end of the year.
So, die-hard 'gamers' you might be in for some advanced adventure.
