21-year-old Austin Ndife, a Nigerian football player died on the eve of Christmas. He was reported to have been suffering from heart issues and was admitted at the Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Bansbari, Nepal where he was declared dead on the 24th of this month. Apparently the player arrived Nepal for trials, but died before been signed to any of the clubs there on Monday. I heard that African players in Nepal have pleaded with the FA to arrange a friendly match with Africa XI and a team from Nepal in his memory. May his soul rest in peace.
