It pains me so much that this sort of barbaric act is still in existence in our dear country Nigeria. I cannot comprehend how much pain i have been through since after watching the video of four Uniport students massacred and burnt alive in Port-Harcourt city in River state. My advice, Please don't watch the video because it will make you sick.
One of the communities in Port-Harcourt known as Aluu community conspired with its chief and some individuals on Friday being the 5th of October 2012, to beat the hell out of four undergraduate students of University of Port-Harcourt with planks, irons, logs of wood, destructive weapon etc . They did not stop at beating the hell out this student, they murdered them in the process, but still they were not satisfied with just killing them. The mob brought out petrol and burnt this four students who were alleged to have stolen laptops, phones. They were even called the students cultist too. Please click the READ MORE to continue

“Rivers State Police Command unequivocally condemns the gruesome killing of four UniPort students on October 5, by irate mob from Aluu community. The command sympathies with the families of the slain students and also appeals to them not to take the laws into their hands. Students of the university are urged not to engage in any reprisal attack as such could lead to chaos and anarchy.”
The immediate past President of UNIPORT’s Students’ Union, Mr. Rhino Owhorkire, condemned the attack on the four students, who were killed and burnt alive. He said
“We totally condemn the act that was perpetrated by the Omokiri Aluu community. We ought to have gone beyond meting out jungle justice to anybody. They claimed the students were robbers, but nobody came out to say his property was stolen.
“We also heard that the students were cult members, who went to collect dues from other members. But the aggrieved colleagues decided to brand them thieves and this attracted some members of the community who killed them. We have been hearing a lot of rumours since the incident.”Sincerely, am totally against this sort of Jungle Justice, and i hope this is the last time we are going to hear this sort of news again. Now tell me do you approve this jungle justice in our society? share your thought.
