Rick Ross ''Hold Me Back'' Video Shoot at Obalende



American rapper and Maybach Music (MMG) CEO, Rick Ross announced via Twitter on Friday, August 17, 2012, that while in Lagos for his Summer Jam Fest performance, he would use the opportunity to shoot a music video called ''HOLD ME BACK''


The video for 'Hold me back', a track off his recent 5th studio album 'God Forgives, I Don’t', was shot at Obalende area in Lagos State

Rick Ross thrilled the city of Lagos over the weekend, for almost two hours when he performed at the St. EVE’s Summer Jam Festival held at Eko Hotel on Friday, August 18, 2012, as he did his popular tracks like ‘Hustlin’,‘Blowing money Fast’, ‘Hold me back’, ‘I’m not a Star’. 

Top performers at the show also included Terry G, Flavour, Vector, Iyanya, Dammy Krane, Flowsickk, Eva, Zaina, and many more others. 


Rick Ross tweeted ‘Filming in the slums in Lagos.i just bought out the whole grocery store and gave it to the village. #MMG presence strong in our homeland‘, @rickyrozay tweeted.


                                                  

The shoot, directed by Maybach Music official films director Spiff TV, started at about 1PM and lasted for 2 hours. ‘Nigeria!!! We In The Streets‘, @SPIFFTvFilms tweeted.

Although the US version of ’Hold me back‘ was released in July and it generated a lot of controversy when it got banned by music network BET.
