YES!. Our very own Omotola Jalade Ekeinde now has a verified twitter account. Omo sexy as she is fondly called, is no doubt one of Nigerian's well recognised personalities with a strong social presence as well, having over 78,362 followers on twitter.

The multi-award winning Singer, Actress, Amnesty international activist and UN ambassador WFP, is now on the same list with the likes of Asa, Brymo, Ice prince, Genevieve Nnaji, Oluchi, Nneka, Jesse jagz,  D'Banj, Dencia and Osaze Odemwinge, as their accounts are already verified.

Many may ask, 'what is the essence of verifying your twitter account'. After so many research, it has been discovered that a twitter account is verified when a user (especially a public figure) is subjected to mischievous activities of impostors, who create fake accounts thereby causing problems for the original users as their fans may no longer identify them.
