Omotola plans new music album, she says 'it's not about the money'

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde is a Nollywood actress and She is married to Capt. Matthew Ekeinde and has 4 children. Apart from being one of the most successful Nollywood actresses, she is also a singer and is involved in extensive charity works.

Omotola  who reacted to recent rumors of her having appeared at the 2011 Grammy awards was a publicity stunt and doing music for money. One of her songs, Barren Land  is currently been used by Amnesty international . She said

Universal Studios actually sent that song to the Grammys in Atlanta and they liked the song and they did an investigation on me and the kind of work I have been doing in the past with the UN and all, then I was invited as an African singer who is doing a lot with charity. 

Most importantly, she spoke about her upcoming album and video shoot in progress, she was not doing music because of money because if it was about money she would have given the music to marketers. According to her The new album will be called ‘Me, Myself and Eyes’.
