Bill Gates, the world's richest man was in Kebbi state, Nigeria 2days ago. He signed a Memorandum of Understanding for polio eradication agreement.
Bill Gates said that his foundation aimed to eradicate polio and other related diseases world wide, and he discussed how Indian with a population of over one billion won the fight against polio due to help from his foundation. He further highlighted that Nigeria needed urgent attention and,
“To meet these conditions, the collaboration and support of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, our development partners are more than a welcome contribution in the right direction".
