Veteran actor Kofi Adjorlolo is said to have taken a French leave during the shoot of a new movie project called ”Heavenly Realms” produced by Optical Illusion Pictures Productions.
According to the beleaguered executive producer of the movie, Albert Kyei Barfuor, he had been informed by one actress named Gifty Temeng that while they spent one of their nights in their various rooms in the course of the shooting duration, Kofi Adjorlolo came to her room to sleep there which made her uncomfortable.

To cap it all, Kofi tried having sex with her as he even went naked but the lady was unyielding. It was because of the humiliation that would come after he had been reported by Gifty that caused him to leave the set, the producer had said.

Fake Doctor Arrested After Working For More Than One Year In A Govt Hospital

The Cross River State Police Command has arrested a fake medical doctor, who worked with the name, Dr. Collins Okafor, at the General Hospital in Calabar, the state capital.

The suspect, whose real name is Mr. Simeon Kejohu (34), was said to have used the certificate of a medical practitioner to secure employment with the Cross River State Ministry of Health and worked in the hospital for one and half years before his true identity was discovered.

A source at the hospital, who is a senior health personnel, said the suspect’s identity became suspicious when all the medical doctors in the hospital were compulsorily made to register online as directed by the Medical Advisory Council.

The picture above is Chinwendu Uwakaonyenma Ogbonnaya, 29, who was caught in London Heatrow Airport on the 18th of December 2011 as a Crew member with Arik Air. The plane had flew from Lagos to London, UK immigration officers discovered packages of cocaine, worth 250k pounds, hidden inside her bag.

She told the immigration that the bag is not for her; she claimed a friend gave it to her, she never knew there was cocaine in the bag. But she was later pleaded guilty for attempted drug trafficking. Now, she's getting a 5 year, 6months jail term.

Show Of Shame For Airport Securities As Armed Robbers Invade Murtala Int'l Airport, Made Away With $600k

In a recent show down at the Murtala Int'l Airport, armed robbers invaded the Airport and carted away $600k (N95m) from a Bureau de Change operator inside one of the car parks at the terminal.. The Airport securities were no where to be found while the Armed robbers shot sporadically into the air around the dark car park, ending up hitting a woman with one of the bullets. before dispossessing their victim of the said amount somewhat around 8.30pm on Wednesday Night.

According to one of the Airport operators Salisu, the incident took place without any challenge from the security agents stationed at various locations at the airport while the robbers carried out their operation and went away with the loot. Salisu went on to say that the robbers who arrived with sophisticated machine guns traced a Dubai bound passenger that came to change some local currency into American dollars when the operator ran into the robbers and were dispossesed of the foreign currency.

Igbo Community In Atalanta USA Pays Tribute To Late General Ojukwu

 

The Ojukwu Memorial celebrations, in Atlanta GA, Jan 28th 2012, is a remarkable story of the coming together of the entire Igbo Communities in Georgia and beyond to pay tribute to an illustrious Igbo son, a courageous young man who was in his early thirties at the start of the Biafra war, but in his wisdom atfirst did everything possible to avoid war by negotiating with Nigerian authori-ties in Aburi Ghana to harsh out acceptable and fair system of governance for all citizens and regions of Nigeria following the 1966, and 1967-70 genocide against Ndigbo. After an agreement was reached, the Nigerian side failed to live up to the agreement which they signed in Aburi Ghana.

 

The emergence of the Republic of Biafra in May 1967 was simply inevitable as the Biafrans killed in large numbers in many parts of Nigeria sought to pursue independence from a country where their safety could not be guaranteed by the central federal government.

Super Falcons Midfielder, Felicia Eze Dies At 38

Football enthusiasts on Thursday in Lagos expressed shock over the death of a former Super Falcons’ player, Felicia Eze, who died in Anambra, aged 38.

In separate interviews with newsmen, the fans described Eze's death as a great loss to the country.

A former Super Falcons' Coach, Rolandson Odeh, said the news of the midfielder's death was shocking, and that she died at a time female football needed her expertise.

 “She died at a stage when female football needed her expertise to develop; when I heard the news, I was shocked because I spoke to her some months back,” Odeh said.

Peter Oguche, a board member of the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL), said the late player would be remembered for her contributions to the team.

 “I cannot comprehend why she had to die at this time; she is just too young but who are we to question God?,” Oguche said.

Nnenna Etim, also a former Super Falcons’ assistant coach, described the player's death as “shocking”, and a sad way to start the New Year.

 “This is a very sad way to begin the year, I pray that God will give her family the fortitude to bear the loss,” she said.

 Eze was a member of the Super Falcons' team to the Greece 2004 Olympic Games where Nigeria got to the quarter-finals.

Man Arrested While Trying To Smuggle Drugs With Tin Tomatoes

 
A 26-year-old  man has been arrested  by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA,  for alleged drug trafficking.  The suspect, identified as Nzeka Chika, who was heading to Malaysia, was caught  with over 1.800kg of methamphetamine worth over N5 million, stuffed into tin tomatoes at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos.

According to Reports, The suspect claimed to be ignorant of death sentence for drug offenders in Malaysia is being interrogated by anti-narcotic agents over unlawful exportation of  the drugs.  

Officers of the agency who  made the arrest at the weekend following the discovery of drugs inside tomato paste at Lagos, Nigeria, said the suspect is cooperating with investigators.

 It was a moment of joy for top MTV VJ, CVON and her husband Ozoemena Mbanefo on the 30th of January as she welcomed a bouncing baby boy at Emory Midtown hospital Atlanta.

The baby's name is Lincon Munachiso Mbanefo who strolled into the world at exactly 7.55am, and several celeb friends took to their BBM status and twitter accounts to congratulate the young couple thereby making a spontaneous announcement.

Cynthia and her husband Ozoemena Mbanefo got married on October 23, 2010 at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos. She's presently MTV’s only Nigerian VJ; the26-year old computer science graduate from Ebonyi State University first came to public attention after winning a nationwide MTV VJ Search in November 2007.

CVON also have a radio program that is aired in about 49 radio stations. she also stars in the MNET TV series 'Tinsel' as“Ify”.
